POLICY

Criteria for Grading:

1. Grades for course work are compiled from the combination of assessments taken, active participation in class or on- line activities, and evaluations of appropriate competencies. Evaluation criteria is set out in the program/course outlines.

2. Assessment includes but is not limited to:

  • Required course readings and responses,
  • Higher order thinking activities such as reflections, connections
  • Projects
  • Assignments
  • Journals
  • Inquiry based learning
  • Participation
  • Case studies
  • Problem-based learning problems
  • Ongoing and timely feedback
  • Practicum Evaluation reports

A meaningful written progress report through LMS will be provided to the student for any graded evaluation in the course within 3-5 working days after the quiz/assignment date.

3. Grading System:

The various program/course outlines do have their grading system listed . In general , college will be following CGPA system basis on 4.33

Percentage GPA Letter Grade
> 90% 4.33 A+
85% < 90% 4 A
80% < 85% 3.7 B+
75% < 80% 3.5 B
70% < 75% 3 C+
65% < 70% 2.5 C
60% < 65% 2 D
< 60% 1.5 F

Graduation Requirements:

• Complete all the academic requirements of the program.

• Pay in full all tuition fees and any other money owing to the College. • Return all materials and equipment belonging to the College.
